Hai Van Pass & Ho Chi Minh Trail: A 2 day private motorcycle tour from Hue to Hoi An, or Hoian to Hue
Our team will pick you up from your hotel at 8:00 AM. We’ll skip the busy main roads and ride through beautiful countryside alongside Hue’s Perfume River.
Located 60 kilometres west-southwest of Hue, A Luoi is a mountainous district sandwiched between the A Shau Valley and the border with Salavan and Sekong provinces, Laos. Vietnam War veterans and historians will be familiar with the name, as it was the location of several US military bases that saw fierce battles, including Asho Airport and Hamburger Hill. The district encompasses 100-kilometres of the historic Ho Chi Minh Trail.
In the jungle between A Luoi and Prao town stands the beautiful A-Pat waterfall. The water falls from the mountain top and is fresh and clean. This is an incredible place to stop for lunch and a swim, and to experience the jungle wildlife!
The Ho Chi Minh Trail has some of the most beautiful views of Vietnam’s central highlands. The Trail is a challenging road for inexperienced motorcyclists, but our experienced riders will ride smoothly and safely. You can sit back, relax, and enjoy your journey.
Bo-Hoong village is inhabited by the Cơ Tu ethnic group. The peoples of the Cơ Tu ethnic minority mostly live in central Vietnam and eastern Laos and their population is just over 61,588 people. Locals still wear traditional dress, use traditional weaving and agricultural methods, and speak their own language.
We’ll ride down to Danang city and visit The Hai Van Pass, the most beautiful coastal road in Vietnam.
A beautiful spot with very few visitors, Van beach belongs to the Van fishing village, and is a natural wonder. It’s forbidden to build on this particular beach, so the coastline is clean and untouched.
When we reach the highest point of the Pass we will visit the war bunkers. Here, you can get a spectacular view of Lang Co Bay.
From the top of the pass we will fly down to Da Nang City. You’ll enjoy a smooth ride with incredible views of Da Nang, Monkey Mountain and Van Beach.
Lang Co Beach
Lang Co Beach is one of the best that Vietnam has to offer. Few tourists travel here, so the beach is quiet and tranquil. From here, you can taste fresh, locally caught seafood cooked in traditional Vietnamese style while enjoying the beautiful view of the Hai Van mountain.
The Marble Mountain range cuts through the middle of Danang and Hoi An. From the flat landscape of Danang city you can easily see these impressive limestone mountains. We will take you to visit the biggest mountain, which boasts an ornate pagoda and caves perfect for exploring.
